More Ramblin
Well Tamy thinks I need to write more often but I don't have anything of real importance to talk about! I will have to say thanks to all that are responsible for my blog. I opened it up tonight and was awoke to Toby Kieth it really did bring back memories of how good I once was!!! Monya had given it a new redesigned look. Joe, Rhett, myself, and Gage will be going to Cal for a few days to get out of the heat. Should be fun I always enjoy hanging with my boys. It's worth the teasing they do to me,could be borderline abusive and I keep coming back for more. Gavin had his 8th birthday yesterday. He had a little swim and pizza party here He is getting very big!We made it to the airport the other night to see Myles return from his Mission in New York he didn't look any different than the day he left two years ago. Everyone was excited to see him back home. I promise next time I rite I will have more substance in my words.

Walker's Accadamy Graduation
What a great day, Tamy and I left for Tucson ware Walker graduated from Cadette School! He even got his own badge. He said that it was actually much harder than he expected. We are all so proud of Walker's accomplishments. I know that in the short time that he was in school he grew physically, mentally, and spiritually. He will be starting at the Florence prison on Monday, and will be reporting at 7:00 am. It was hot today about 112 degrees lucky it was inside. Tamy and I have to go to a wedding reception in a little while so I don't have much time.Thursday, July 8, 2010
Just Ramblin
Well another very warm summer day gone by! Seems like there is never enough time in the day to get everything done, even though the days are much longer in the summer. My days usually starts around 6:00 am and finishes at bed around 11:00 pm. Rhett is doing a good job at work as a lot tech. He is going to school and working about 4-5 hours a day. He told me tonight at dinner that he is finding out that car selling looks much harder than he ever thought it would be. He is excited about his mission, it will be soon when he reads the letter from the First Presidency that will tell him ware he will be serving for the next two years of his life! I know that this is what he should be doing. Tamy probably struggles a little bit, but seems to keep it to herself (for the time being). Walker will graduate tomorrow down in Tucson, we will drive down for the ceremony, he will immediately take an assignment in the Florence prison. I will report on his progress later. I feel certain that he is done with being pepper sprayed, and tear gassed.

HAWK (Hawk Windchester Kid)

I wanted to show anyone that is interested, my present project, Tamy thinks I'm crazy.I really liked the way he moved and looked so I bought this horse at the livestock auction in chandler I had big plans to make him a high powered rope horse! No such luck, He is 7 years old, has been abused and have developed some real bad habits. Now my plans have been altered to make a bucking horse out of him. I'll keep you updated on his progress.
Az. & NY Round 2

I wasn't going to go but Gavin talked me into taking him! I knew that AZ couldn't beat the Yankee's two days in a row, and certainly didn't want to subject myself to the tack tics of the New York Yankee fans! Regardless of all that, we had a great time. Had dinner at one of our favorite Mexican food restaurant's, Carolina's it is probably the roughest place you would probably ever eat at, but the food is the best, tortillas made fresh every hour. We had great seats behind the first base dugout and left in the 8th inning when the Yanks started to take control and run away with the game.

Diamondbacks 10 NY Yankees 4
First of a three game series, Joe and myself witnessed a great game tonight if you don't like the Yankees. New York fans were sure the would see a win! Ariz. was on a roll Jason Upton hit two home runs. The Chase Stadium is something to see. If you do one thing in your life go to a home game at Chase Field it's spectacular! It's 11:00PM and it's time to quit for the day!

Fathers Day!

I have to thank my daughter Posey for getting me started on my own personal blog! Not sure how much time I can put into it, but I have made myself a promise to do this for my posterity. Fathers day was great today. Got a little rest today, fell asleep watching the US Open, I'm not sure why but golf seems to put me to sleep. I think it's because the TV announcers whisper. We had dinner tonight at our house. Lots of action, noise, and commotion. These are memories that will never be forgotten. Between the grand kids running in and out of the house and my daughter in law Erin talking extremely fast it seemed like the evening wasn't going to end! The grand kids are always allot of fun. Walker got the Internet back running, I didn't know that modems went bad! Tamy and I decided to splurge and buy a recliner/rocker for our bedroom, it took us two months to find the one we wanted and the day Tamy went to pick it up she came home with two, Walker bought the other one for his new house. Gavin is sleeping over tonight, he hasn't had much chance to be with his Uncle Rhett so it's good he is here. It's late and I have to wake up early so I better go!
